I used to feel pretty capable. Then I joined here and on a site specifically catering for my Lion King Fanart needs (yes, lame, I know)... and saw the TRUTH.

I'm just one of those amateurs who thinks using a fill can on a poorly-drawn lineart picture and then also filling the background is a 'great picture'. TBF even though I use a tablet sometimes, I only have Paint since Photoshop won't install on my frickin' laptop for some stupid reason. I'm slightly better when I draw by hand but my scanner won't pick it up so I can rarely put any of it online.

Like, I was trying to draw this character just now... And there was ZERO resemblance. Same species, yes, but same person? I dunn think so. I know I'm just a work in progress, but I feel like I'm actually going backwards instead of improving. ;_;

BUT NONE OF YOU UNDERSTAND MY PAIN! YOU'RE ALL TOO TALENTED! And all bar one of you don't even know my account exists so you can't read this, either! Well, that's fine. Fine! But you'll see. Someday, I... I'll come up with a decent retort for your skillz! Yeah! That'll show you!

Also, youthful "love" stinks. Why did I ever think it would work? He doesn't know I exist much more than the various skilled artisans I've been ranting at...
